Cuenca, October 16, 2023 – The collaboration between Organon and Schneider Electric aims to secure financing for new solar plants that will produce clean energy and contribute to energy sustainability.
The VPPA will enable Organon to effectively utilize renewable energy, mitigating costs associated with traditional electricity sources. These plants are estimated to have a total capacity of 51 MW, generating over 144 GWh annually, which could lead to significant long-term energy cost savings.
The return on investment (ROI) is expected to be robust, thus facilitating a sustainable business model that not only complies with environmental regulations but also promotes a cleaner and more efficient energy future.
Such collaboration positions both companies as pioneers in the transition to renewable energy in the region, setting a precedent for future developments in Cuenca's energy industry.
